![]() | Hello, my name is Christie Davis. It is my goal to create experiences of joy for each animal I am privileged to connect with. I believe it is important to gain an animal's trust and form a relationship that allows the dog or cat to feel comfortable and safe. Dogs in particular require love, affection, exploratory exercise, and fun for true mental and physical health to occur. For me, it is not a job, but a pleasure to facilitate that process. I uphold the highest standards for maintaining your pet's safety and standards of care. |
I have worked with animals for over 10 years, and consider myself lucky to have found such a passion. My professional background is in education, as I have a special affinity for children as well as animals. I was educated in Southern California, where I grew up owning and training dogs, cats, and birds. I have experience with rescue dogs and independent breeds who are behaviorally difficult, and enjoy the challenge and patience required to meet their needs. I have worked with high energy dogs as well as those who enjoy taking their time to enjoy the smells along the way. It is well known that adequate exercise makes for a far better behaved dog, as well as a fit dog. I began my animal care business because I have a great time with dogs and cats, and they with me. I fill a niche in the area for dogs who need an athletic companion that has the ability to really allow them to run and play as they need to. Cats also are very sensitive to whom they spend time with, and I understand the importance they play in my clients' lives. I diligently work to create trust in animals and the people who love them. For me, pet parents are the best kind of people, and I look forward to meeting every potential client! | |
About Me
"Maggie [a 4-year-old Shih Tzu] so looks forward to her daily walks with you. She tends to be shy with new people, but really seemed to take to you. I got a good feeling about you when I met you, and am thrilled you are apart of Maggie's day now. She is much more relaxed when we return home now, and I am grateful to not have to worry about her anymore!" -Janet, Alamo
"I was apprehensive about putting our dogs Bear and Sarah into a kennel this year when we needed to take our yearly trip to Idaho. They are older and are sensitive in many ways, due to age and being rescue dogs. I was relieved to find you when a friend recommended you, after I had done an online search for a pet sitter. Everything was immaculate when I returned and the dogs looked great, while showing no sign of anxiety. They seemed very happy and I appreciated your attention to detail. Your daily texts put my mind at ease. I will not hesitate to use your service for my next trip!" -Karen, Walnut Creek
